A SPECTACULARLY VISUAL GLOBAL EVENT

Held in all 50 US States, and 60 nations annually Saturday, April 28th, 2007 - 10 am worldwide. On the last Saturday of April, 2007, at 10 am local time worldwide . . . a spectacularly visual event will unfold across the planet.

Mass Tai Chi and Qigong (Chi Kung) Exhibitions and Teach-ins will be held in hundreds of cities in all 50 US States, and 60 nations worldwide.

Why is this Global Event Held?

There are several reasons for this global health & healing event.

To educate the world of the profound health benefits and emerging medical research on Tai Chi and Qigong (Chi Kung)

To provide the world a vision of international cooperation for the purpose of health & healing

To honor Traditional Chinese Medical research, and to call attention to the reality that wisdom is offered by all peoples of the world

About World Tai Chi & Qigong Day

This year's 2007 event will mark the 9th annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day (WTCQD). Coordinated by the International Office, but organized locally by individuals, groups, schools, and institutions working toward global health education on these issues.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day has been announced by many:

The US Department of Health & Human Services announced WTCQD on their National Health Observances 2007 Calendar. Other organizations who've alerted their national member organizations about WTCQD in the past have been the National Council on the Aging; the National YMCA Offices; and many others.

Many governors of US States have officially proclaimed "World Tai Chi & Qigong Day" for their states, and it has been recognized by the United Nations World Health Organization, senates, legislatures, and mayors of many states and nations.
