World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Newsletter National Parkinson's Foundation Event Recognizes Tai Chi July 2007 World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Supporters World Tai Chi & Qigong Day was invited to present at the National Parkinson's Foundation Annual Conference for care givers, health professionals, and Parkinson's patients, in Chicago, Illinois (USA) last week. The keynote speaker was Mumammad Ali's wife. The presentation was very successful. There was maximum attendence, and every attendee stayed for the entire Tai Chi presentation. The feedback was excellent, and many expressed an interest in learning Tai Chi after the conference, remarking on how much better they felt after experiencing Tai Chi and Qigong in the workshop. I explained in my presentation that my goal was not to teach them anything they should remember, but rather to relax and "enjoy" a sample of a Tai Chi experience, in the hope it would spur them on to find local classes in their areas.
