The Governor of Kentucky's 2009 WTCQD Proclamation, has made the 23rd United States Governor to have Officially Proclaimed World Tai Chi & Qigong Day for his/her state!! In only hours from now World Tai Chi & Qigong Day will begin in the planet's earliest time zones of New Zealand, and then spread with mass events across Australia, Russia & cities across Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South Americas, and will finally come to the last time zone of Kuaii, Hawaii. 6 CONTINENTS ! Greg worked long hard hours on something, even while he was sick this week, in order to have it ready on WorldTaiChiDay.org in time for WTCQD 2009 in a few hours. THANKS GREG (we're all bowing :-) Today we recieved an Official Proclamation of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day from the Governor of Kentucky (USA), bringing the number of US governors proclaiming WTCQD to 23! Governors in other nations, Brasil etc. have also proclaimed WTCQD for their states. Have a GREAT World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2009, and don't forget to photo and video your event to post it on our new Event Photo/Video Gallery, which will be up and running soon, for all groups worldwide to post to. Also, collect all the media you get on your event, and post clips onto your Event Photo Gallery Posts. OUR BIG SURPRISE !! For months, our programmer Greg, has been working on a new free feature for WorldTaiChiDay.org. Each year it has taken me months to post all the beautiful Event Photos, and Videos from around the world. But, THIS YEAR WE WILL BE ABLE TO LET YOU POST YOUR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS IN REAL TIME FOLLOWING YOUR EVENTS, so we'll actually be able to see this event spread across the planet, when you post your event photos and videos immediately following your events. Greg's been working very hard on this, NEW AUTOMATED WTCQD EVENT PHOTO/VIDEO GALLERY, yet another free feature to the global Tai Chi & Qigong community, and in the last week we've both been working very hard to work out the final bugs, so that we could announce it now, and have it up for everyone to use on WTCQD 2009. WE DID IT !! You'll see the link to the Event Photo Gallery in the menu at the "Find Local Classes" or "Find Local WTCQD Events" directory. More World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Event Photos. www.worldtaichiday.org www.worldtaichiday.org INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEW "EVENT PHOTO/VIDEO" GALLERY Although Greg, and I, have worked very hard to create this new WTCQD Event Photo/Video Gallery to have ready for WTCQD this year . . . . as with all programs there may be a few bugs. We've done dozens of tests, and everything seems to work, so be sure and carefully read the instructions, and also use the "help" button if you get stuck, because you shouldn't have any problems if you take your time and read the instructions carefully. I suggest, PRINT OUT THE "Create a WTCQD Event Photo/Video Gallery Posting" INSTRUCTIONS. Then you can follow them step-by-step. On the home page of www.worldtaichiday.org you'll see the "Find Local World Tai Chi & QG Day Events" link, and on all other pages the "Find Local Classes" link at the top of the menu on the right of those pages, will lead to our School/Event Directory, and you'll see the "WTCQD Event Gallery" at the top of that menu, which will explain how to post your photos/videos to the Gallery. So, that we don't get inundated with queries, that you probably will find the answers to in the instructions or the help section. please take your time really reading and following the instructions, so we'll be able to address real problems that come up, rather than answering questions on issues that already have the answers for you to read. I want to personally thank Greg for his programming genius, and for sharing our vision of a healthier clearer world, and for his brilliant and fantastic work creating both the new School Directory you have all been using for months, and also for this new WTCQD Event Photo/Video Gallery we can all enjoy for years to come as WTCQD continues to grow year after year. THANKS GREG!! Everyone, please take photos and videos of your event, and enjoy the fruits of our labor, by posting all your beautiful events on the NEW WTCQD EVENT PHOTO/VIDEO GALLERY, which you'll find the link to on the "Find Local Classes" directory page menu. IF YOU FIND A BUG, OR GLITCH, HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP: 1) copy the url of the page you are on when it occurs, and include that url in your email to us 2) try to provide a succint, yet detailed description of what went wrong (although, we don't think anything will, we've spent hours and hours testing, so be sure to read the instructions carefully.)
