Via this organizing hub of WorldTaiChiDay.org, and the mass global event we organize annually in hundreds of cities in over 70 nations, known as World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, we educate millions around the planet about Tai Chi & Qigong's benefits; how to find local classes; how to get the most from those classes; and we consult health care, corporate, government and educational institutions about
integrating these health tools into
society at all levels.
World Tai Chi & Qigong Day
occurs because thousands
worldwide who share a common
vision of hope & healing for our
planet and her people come
together each year to organize events in over 70 nations, on the last
Saturday of April at 10 am local time
worldwide.
Purposes of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day:
1) To educate the world of the profound health & healing benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong for individuals, communities, and nations
2) To thank Chinese culture for creating and sharing these profoundly valuable gifts with the world
3) To bring together people across racial, economic, religious, and geo-political boundaries, to join together for the purpose of health and healing, providing an example to the world.
4) To give a powerful example of how the power of the internet can be used to foster global health & healing.
At times, as Angela watched in impending financial horror as Bill's 18 Tai Chi classes per week, fell to 6, 5, 4 ... Bill seemed about as rational as Richard Dreyfus's character in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," who neglected his career as he rushed to fill his house with shrubs and dirt, trying to form a vision that was just on the tip of his mind's tongue. It drove him, he felt it, and it seemed irrational. But today, because Bill and Angela walked through fear, breathed through fear, they were able to partner with tens of thousands worldwide who were ready for such a vision that would educate millions about health, healing, and mind expansion tools that could help our world profoundly.
World Tai Chi & Qigong Day
(WTCQD) educates millions
worldwide about Tai Chi &
Qigong's benefits, how to find
local classes, how to get the
most from those classes, and
we consult health care, corporate,
government and educational
institutions about integrating
these health tools into society
at all levels.
In September of 2009, we were honored to be invited to provide the first in
history, Tai Chi & Qigong
presentation & lecture
for the United States Department
of Health & Human Services
National Institutes of Health (NIH),
at the NIH offices in Washington D.C.. The event
was postponed, but became
the catalyst for a future
NIH Mind-Body Week
educational event.
For over a decade WTCQD has also
facilitated a spectacular unprecedented
annual global health education
event, that has captured the
world's imagaination. Click

WTCQD's annual event is both
moving and inspiring, as people from over 70 nations in hundreds
of cities, and all 50 US States, come
together to wrap the world, in a global
Tai Chi and Qigong movement.
Our primary mission is personal and global health &
healing. We work toward this goal
by educating millions of the emerging
medical research on Tai Chi and Chi Kung,
explaining the nuances of Tai Chi & Chi Kung
in plain language, and connecting
people with local teachers.
We have connected a million
viewers with Tai Chi and Chi Kung
teacher's local contact information
worldwide via WorldTaiChiDay.org.
We also provide free resources to
help new Tai Chi and Chi Kung
students to get the most from their
local classes, while empowering teachers with helpful tools to educate their local populations, and make their job both easier and more
effective. (browse this page for several tutorials we've created.)
Whether you are new to Tai Chi and Chi Kung, an avid enthusiast practitioner, or a teacher/master, World Tai Chi & Qigong Day has resources to help you.
We help teachers to grow their classes by helping them to educate local media, business, healthcare, and educational institutions about the wonders of Tai Chi and Chi Kung . . .
Providing useful tips for teachers on approaching institutions, and approaches to teaching children, learning disabled, corporate staffs, drug and penal rehabilitation clients, and others in appropriate, tangible, and effective ways.
